And according to a survey, 2 million people are infected with drug resistant bacteria each year and 23,000 die.

The Chinese organizers have placed more than 10,000 books around the underground, taxis and planes in some big cities like Beijing or Shanghai. Readers can read these books at any time.
One netizen on Weibo said that ‘I think most of the people will just take photos and selfies when they pick up the books’. He is not optimistic about this reading activities, he believes that the Chinese people generally do not love reading.
In fact, according to a survey, an average Chinese person reads 4.58 paper books in 2015, which is much lower than Canadians or Americans.
So we all hope that this activity can enhance the Chinese people’s reading interest, not just copying other people’s behavior.
